Job Description

  • Conduct market research and analyse industry trends to identify and assess potential business growth and investment opportunities.
  • Support the evaluation and execution of strategic business development initiatives, including acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, and new market opportunities.
  • Perform preliminary commercial assessments, due diligence, and feasibility studies on prospective projects and investments.
  • Develop financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses to support investment and strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare presentations, investment papers, and business proposals for senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and regional business development stakeholders to support project execution and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain and strengthen industry networks while tracking market developments, competitor activities, and potential partnership opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree qualified in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, investments, or related functions, with proven exposure to M&A transactions and project execution.
  • Strong financial modelling, commercial evaluation, and analytical capabilities, particularly within large-scale investment or infrastructure-related projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex international projects and drive strategic business initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen with a global mindset, coupled with excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Effective communicator with strong presentation, interpersonal, and written communication abilities.
  • Proactive, driven, and adaptable team player who thrives under pressure, manages multiple priorities effectively, and is open to regional or international travel as required.
