Job Description

  • Drive strategic growth for the organization's ubiquitous network and Data Centre Interconnect (DCI) business by building ecosystem partnerships with data centre operators and identifying new interconnection opportunities.
  • Lead the development of scalable DCI and network products by collaborating closely with infrastructure, product, and engineering teams to influence technology roadmaps, platform capabilities, and pricing strategies.
  • Engage enterprise customers and strategic accounts through commercial leadership, structuring large‑scale deals, guiding commercial negotiations, and nurturing long‑term executive relationships.
  • Drive market expansion initiatives, including DCI network rollout plans, competitive landscape analysis, and contributions to go‑to‑market and marketing initiatives for new connectivity platforms.
  • Act as a cross‑functional business leader by aligning stakeholders, providing market insights, and supporting the broader sales organisation in securing high‑value customer opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • More than 8 years of experience in Telco/ICT, especially in network infrastructure, pre‑sales, or post‑sales for medium to large‑scale solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of optical networks, DWDM, wavelength services, IP networking, and inter‑DC connectivity.
  • Experience working with carriers, hyperscalers, or DC operators.
  • A results-driven hunter with a focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to operate independently, influence stakeholders, and lead commercial conversations.
  • Familiarity with consulting frameworks, strong analytical thinking, and high executive presence
