As the Account Manager (Carrier Network), you will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding strategic relationships with key telecommunications operators. You will drive end‑to‑end account engagement across wireless, core network, transmission, fixed network, and cloud‑network convergence solutions.

Job Description

Customer Engagement & Needs Assessment

  • Regularly assess, clarify, and validate customer requirements to ensure alignment with technology roadmaps.
  • Maintain strong customer satisfaction through proactive communication and trusted advisory engagement.



Sales & Opportunity Development

  • Identify new business opportunities across carrier‑grade solutions and manage full sales project cycles.
  • Lead proposal development, commercial discussions, and solution positioning to secure competitive wins.



Strategy & Internal Collaboration

  • Partner with solution architects, product specialists, and delivery teams to develop effective account strategies.
  • Conduct telco market research and competitive analysis to ensure proposed offerings remain compelling and relevant.



Business Planning & Reporting

  • Achieve annual sales objectives through strategic customer engagement and efficient cross‑functional coordination.
  • Prepare and present account performance updates, forecasts, and quarterly business reviews to internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute insights for future case studies, internal best practices, and training initiatives.



Account Operations

  • Manage key accounts with discipline, ensuring consistent follow‑through on commitments.
  • Undertake other related responsibilities aligned with business priorities.

The Successful Applicant

You will thrive in this role if you bring strong commercial instincts, telco technology understanding, and relationship‑building capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, ICT, or a related field.
  • Background in ICT or carrier network solutions is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or client‑facing roles.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering customer solutions and achieving sales targets.
  • Solid understanding of solution‑selling, network technologies, and competitive market dynamics.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Customer‑oriented, target‑driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
