Job Description

  • Process and manage end-to-end trade finance transactions
  • Handle LC issuance, advising, document checking and financing
  • Ensure accuracy of documentation in line with LC terms & conditions
  • Perform accounting entries, reconciliations and reporting duties
  • Liaise with clients on trade documentation and transaction queries
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal control standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams including treasury and loan operations

The Successful Applicant

  • 4+ years of experience in trade finance/operations within banking
  • Practical experience handling import and export trade transactions
  • Strong understanding of trade finance rules and frameworks
  • Knowledge of AML/CFT requirements within banking operations
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
  • Professional certifications in trade finance are advantageous
