Technical Operation Support (3 months & extendable)

We are seeking an Operations Engineer to manage and maintain the reliability of our Staging and Production environments. This role includes daily operational activities, automated deployments, incident system monitoring, and ensuring adherence to production protocols. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, calm under pressure, and comfortable working in fast paced, high availability system environments.Job Descriptions

• Manage the full life cycle of Staging and Production environments, including daily operations, resource scaling, automated deployments, and release validation.
• Help engineering teams during production incidents through initial triage, mitigation actions (e.g., degradation or rollback), and participation in RCA and postmortems.
• Monitor system health in real time and provide on call as part of the team rotation, ensuring timely management and escalation of anomalies.
• Maintain strict compliance with operational protocols, documentation standards, and continuous improvement of run books and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
• Relevant years of experience in operations or back end development within an internet or technology company.
• Proficiency with Linux command line operations and Shell scripting.
• Ability to break down large log data sets and identify critical errors.
• Familiarity with basic database operations (e.g., SQL queries, cache clearing).
• Strong written communication skills for documenting technical issues and resolutions.
• Able to speak to Mandarin to liaise with China stakeholders
• Able to maintain composure during live incidents and follow procedures with precision.
• Availability to work during China business hours (Mon - Fri)

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code.
• Familiarity with container orchestration concepts.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Data dog, Prometheus
• Hands on experience with Redis, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
