Job Description

  • Oversee OSAT forecasts, WIP movement, and raw material inventory levels.
  • Drive production pull‑ins and expedite critical lots when needed.
  • Monitor OSAT capacity against internal demand and secure additional capacity during upside requirements.
  • Travel to OSAT facilities to support production ramps, resolve delivery issues, participate in audits, and review operational performance.
  • Engage OSAT leadership teams to reinforce priorities, address escalations, and strengthen supplier relationships.
  • Coordinate engineering WIP for technology development, yield enhancement, and qualification builds.
  • Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely progression of packaging and test stages.
  • Track cycle time, output, delivery adherence, and operational metrics.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports, highlighting risks and improvement actions.
  • Support manufacturing steps for new product introduction, ensuring smooth lot movement and on‑time qualification.
  • Assist in return material authorization (RMA) processing and root-cause follow-ups within backend operations.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in semiconductor backend operations, production planning, or OSAT management.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in interpreting operational/manufacturing data.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and escalation handling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of IC packaging flows, assembly processes, or WLP/WLCSP technologies.
  • Experience with backend materials and BOM structures.
  • Familiarity with process engineering, materials science, or design tools such as JMP, AutoCAD, or PCB/Gerber viewers.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for WIP and inventory management.
