Job Description

  • Provide legal advice and guidance to support business operations and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and internal policies.
  • Draft, review and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
  • Manage legal risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Support the resolution of disputes and manage litigation processes when necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address legal and regulatory issues.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and advise on their potential impact on the organisation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of corporate governance frameworks.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Legal Counsel should have:

  • A strong background in legal practice, particularly in the financial services industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal documents.
