Job Description

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for direct and indirect spend categories across Asia.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and contract management for key spend areas.
  • Establish strong supplier partnerships while driving commercial improvements and performance standards.
  • Deliver measurable savings through category management, cost optimisation, demand management, and working capital initiatives.
  • Ensure supply continuity through proactive risk management, supplier diversification, and contingency planning.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, quality, finance, and senior business leaders on procurement-related initiatives.
  • Strengthen procurement governance, digitalisation, ESG compliance, and capability development across country teams.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics, or related discipline.
  • Minimally 10 years of procurement experience within an international industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success managing both direct and indirect procurement categories.
  • Strong track record delivering cost savings through strategic sourcing and complex contract negotiations.
  • Experience working across multiple Asian markets and managing regional supplier networks.
  • Strong commercial, financial, and supplier risk management capabilities.
  • Experience operating within matrix organisations and influencing senior stakeholders across functions.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, procurement platforms, spend analysis tools, and procurement governance processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, build processes, and establish procurement best practices.
