Job Description

  • Manage end‑to‑end middle office operations, including trade support, lifecycle management, reconciliations, and confirmations.
  • Ensure daily BAU activities are completed accurately and within agreed timelines and control standards.
  • Act as a key escalation point for operational issues, breaks, and exceptions.
  • Partner closely with front office, risk, finance, and compliance teams on operational and control matters.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and operational risks, and implement enhancements.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team to maintain high performance and strong control discipline.
  • Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and risk control assessments.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operations Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in banking operations or middle office functions.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, reconciliations, and operational risk.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for operations management.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
