Job Description

· Set and execute the managed investments strategy across discretionary portfolios, advisory mandates, funds, and alternatives.

· Provide leadership and direction to investment and/or product specialists, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

· Lead and develop investment and product specialists, fostering a high‑performance and continuous‑improvement culture.

· Act as a partner to business heads, CIO teams, and control functions; MDs contribute to broader business strategy and transformation.

· Oversee the evolution of the managed investments platform, ensuring commercial relevance, scalability, and strong governance.

· Sponsor product innovation, ESG integration, and capability enhancements in collaboration with product and transformation teams.

· Serve as an investment authority in complex client situations, supporting asset allocation, mandates, and portfolio construction.

· Partner with Relationship Managers to drive growth, increase discretionary and advisory penetration, and support client acquisition.

· Lead or support UHNW client pitches, reviews, and investment forums; represent investment views internally and externally.

· Provide oversight on investment positioning, performance attribution, and risk management.

· Identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and strategic levers to advance the managed investments business.

· Position open in SG & HKG.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Managed Investments professional should have:

· 12+ years' experience in investment management, product, or advisory roles within Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Investment Banking.

· Deep expertise in managed investments, including discretionary portfolios, advisory mandates, funds, alternatives, and ESG integration.

· Proven track record advising HNW and UHNW clients and supporting complex portfolio construction and mandate discussions.

· Strong grounding in asset allocation, multi‑asset investing, and investment oversight across market cycles.

· In‑depth understanding of regulatory, product governance, and risk/control frameworks.

· Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and client‑facing credibility, with high professional integrity.
