Job Description

  • Oversee and verify that all electrical work related to security installations meets national standards, regulatory codes, and safety requirements.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues within CCTV networks, access control systems, and other low‑voltage or security‑related infrastructure.
  • Conduct mandatory electrical tests, coordinate power shutdown activities, and support certification or audit processes.
  • Provide engineering inputs for system enhancements, addition & alteration works, and new technology integration.
  • Review and endorse technical diagrams and documentation related to electrical layouts.
  • Maintain comprehensive reports on servicing activities, inspections, and compliance records.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth implementation of upgrades and maintenance activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful LEW Engineer should have:

    • Holds a valid Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) credential, at minimum the Electrical Technician licence.
    • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
    • Experienced in managing electrical systems in environments involving CCTV, access control, or security technologies.
    • Strong understanding of high‑tension (HT), low‑tension (LT), and extra‑low‑voltage (ELV) systems.
    • Demonstrates sound analytical thinking, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical challenges.
    • Communicates confidently with stakeholders and works well with multidisciplinary teams.
    • Meticulous in documentation, compliance reporting, and safety procedures.
