This is an exciting opportunity for a funds lawyer to take on a broad in-house role within a fast-growing investment platform. You will play a key role in supporting fund structuring, commercial matters and cross-border legal initiatives.

Job Description

  • Lead legal support on fund formation, structuring and lifecycle matters
  • Draft and negotiate investor-related documentation and agreements
  • Provide advice on a wide range of commercial contracts and arrangements
  • Support entity set-up, governance, and ongoing corporate maintenance
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to deliver practical legal solutions
  • Liaise with external counsel on specialised or cross-border matters
  • Collaborate with compliance teams on regulatory-related legal interpretation

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Counsel should have:

  • Qualified lawyer with over 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience
  • Strong exposure to funds or asset management legal work
  • Proven experience in fund structuring, ideally involving Singapore VCCs
  • Solid grounding in corporate and commercial contracting matters
  • background from a reputable law firm or in-house environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and effectively
  • Commercial, solutions-oriented mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills
