Job Description

  • Provide end‑to‑end legal support on corporate and commercial matters across defence‑related businesses
  • Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of agreements including procurement, sales and distribution contracts
  • Advise business leaders on legal, regulatory and compliance risks arising from operations and programmes
  • Partner operational teams to proactively manage risk while supporting commercial objectives
  • Coordinate and manage external counsel on specialised or cross‑border matters
  • Support senior legal leadership on group‑wide legal initiatives and projects

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Counsel should have:

  • Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from a recognised university
  • Minimum 4 years' post‑qualification experience in corporate or commercial law
  • Experience advising on complex commercial agreements and risk issues
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams
  • Strong analytical thinking with clear, practical legal judgement
  • Confident communicator able to engage stakeholders at different levels
