The consultant will partner closely with plant and R&D teams to diagnose issues, recommend practical solutions, and support implementation on the ground.

Job Description

  • Conduct end-to-end diagnostic of non-dairy creamer formulations, production processes, and plant operations
  • Identify cost reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities across ingredients, processing, and equipment utilisation
  • Analyse formulation-process interactions and recommend optimisation strategies for performance, stability, and scalability
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot production challenges and improve output consistency
  • Provide actionable recommendations on process redesign, ingredient optimisation, and production workflows
  • Support implementation of solutions and ensure alignment with operational constraints and commercial objectives

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong experience in non-dairy creamer or powdered beverage formulation and production
  • Deep understanding of ingredient systems (fats, emulsifiers, stabilisers) and their impact on product performance
  • Hands-on exposure to manufacturing environments, including spray drying and/or UHT processing
  • Ability to connect formulation decisions to production efficiency, yield, and cost implications
  • Experience working cross-functionally with R&D, operations, and engineering teams
  • Practical problem-solving mindset with the ability to operate independently in a consulting-style role
