Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including reporting and reconciliation tasks.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights to aid decision-making.
  • Monitor and manage financial transactions, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on financial processes and objectives.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage and process employee payroll accurately and on time while ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with audits as required.
  • Provide support for ad hoc financial projects and initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Accountant should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis within a professional setting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and relevant regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
