About Our Client

Our client is an established multinational FMCG organisation with a strong brand heritage and a significant presence across Asia. The business operates across both domestic and export markets and is recognised for its high-quality consumer products, strong distribution partnerships, and disciplined commercial execution.

As part of its continued growth, the organisation is now strengthening its senior leadership team in Singapore and is looking to hire a Commercial Lead to manage the Singapore and export business.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a leadership role with full responsibility for sales, marketing, channel distribution, and commercial operations in Singapore, including local and export markets. You will lead end-to-end commercial strategy execution, manage key customer relationships, and drive sustainable revenue growth while ensuring strong governance and operational discipline.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing integrated sales and marketing strategies to deliver annual revenue, turnover, and performance targets
  • Driving business development by identifying new growth opportunities, expanding product penetration, and managing key local and overseas accounts
  • Owning commercial operations including sales forecasting, performance reporting, inventory oversight, and trade governance

The Successful Applicant

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • At least 12 years of relevant experience within sales and marketing, ideally in the FMCG food and beverage industry
  • Strong familiarity with distribution models, channel management, and cross-border trade
  • Demonstrated ability to grow key accounts and drive sustainable business performance
  • Well-developed commercial acumen, with strengths in negotiation and stakeholder engagement
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making, including market analysis and performance evaluation
  • Proven leadership capabilities, with experience managing and developing teams
