Job Description

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of a commercial property, including technical systems and service providers
  • Lead and manage on-site staff and outsourced vendors to maintain high performance standards
  • Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions to uphold asset quality
  • Manage procurement processes including sourcing, evaluating, and appointing service providers
  • Monitor budgets, track expenditures, and support annual financial planning
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and emergency preparedness protocols
  • Drive sustainability and environmental initiatives aligned with industry frameworks
  • Build and maintain strong tenant relationships, handling feedback, fit-outs, and operational needs
  • Prepare reports on operations, vendor performance, and asset condition

The Successful Applicant

A successful Building Manager should have:

  • Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services or related discipline
  • Proven experience managing commercial buildings or similar assets
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Comfortable overseeing technical and operational aspects of building management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of safety compliance and building regulations
  • Certification in Fire Safety Management is a plus
