Job Description

  • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accurate documentation of all financial transactions
  • Manage month-end closing activities, including preparation of profit & loss statements and reports
  • Perform general ledger reconciliations with supporting schedules and detailed analysis
  • Analyse financial data, including costs, revenues, and commitments to support forecasting
  • Monitor and review accounting reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Support budgeting processes and track expenditures against budget
  • Identify financial variances and communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business units and finance teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accounting controls and ensure compliance with internal policies, GAAP, and SOX
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Contribute to process improvements and financial systems enhancements

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience in General Ledger accounting and financial reporting
  • Experience with month-end closing and reconciliations
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
