Job Description

  • Support post-trade processing activities for listed derivatives transactions, ensuring timely and accurate execution of client requests and operational deliverables.
  • Manage trade allocations, cash processing activities and transaction-related enquiries while maintaining high service standards.
  • Monitor and resolve trade exceptions, reconciliation breaks and settlement issues across multiple stakeholders.
  • Partner with trading, client coverage, technology and operations teams to support daily business activities and operational initiatives.
  • Contribute to risk management and control processes by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of transactional data and records.
  • Participate in system enhancements, workflow optimisation and change management initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen procedures, controls and infrastructure to support business growth and evolving regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in listed derivatives operations, futures and options trade support, middle office, operations or cash processing functions.
  • Understanding of futures and options markets, trade lifecycle processes and post-trade operations.
  • Experience managing trade allocations, reconciliations and operational exceptions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and operational systems used within capital markets environments.
  • Exposure to industry platforms such as GMI, Traiana or similar solutions would be advantageous.
