The bank is recognised for its disciplined risk culture, collaborative environment, and commitment to developing specialist expertise within transaction banking and structured trade finance.Job DescriptionMonitor and manage trade finance exposures, facility utilisation, and collateral positions across a portfolio of commodity-focused clients.Assess transaction structures and financing requests to ensure alignment with approved credit parameters and internal risk frameworks.Oversee collateral throughout the transaction lifecycle, including inventory, receivables, shipment tracking, insurance, and security documentation.Conduct borrowing base reviews and collateral valuation analysis to ensure adequate security coverage against outstanding exposures.Identify and escalate deviations, emerging risks, and unusual transaction activity to relevant stakeholders.Partner closely with Relationship Managers, Credit Risk, Operations, Compliance, and external counterparties to facilitate transaction execution.Support ongoing process improvements, portfolio reporting, and maintenance of accurate transaction and collateral records.The Successful ApplicantDegree in Finance, Business, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline.3+ years of experience in Trade Finance, Commodity Finance, Structured Trade Finance, or Trade Operations/Middle Office environments.Strong understanding of trade finance instruments including Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Loans, and related financing structures.Knowledge of inventory-backed financing, borrowing base facilities, working capital finance, and collateral management principles.Experience assessing transaction risks, exposure monitoring, and exception handling within a banking environment.Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex transactions and identify potential risks.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced operational environment.Effective stakeholder management and communication skills across internal and external parties.What's on OfferThis opportunity provides exposure to one of the most specialised areas within international banking and commodity finance.
