The company is known for its emphasis on precision machining, strict quality standards, and continuous improvement, offering engineers exposure to complex, highly regulated production environments and opportunities to work on cutting-edge aerospace programs.Job DescriptionDevelop and implement CNC machining processes for precision metal componentsTranslate engineering drawings (including GD&T requirements) into manufacturing workflowsCreate, review, and validate CNC programs (CAD/CAM) in offline environmentsDesign and optimise tooling, fixturing, and workholding solutionsSupport new product introduction (NPI) and process industrialisationTroubleshoot machining and production issues to improve yield and efficiencyCollaborate with Quality teams on metrology, gauging, and process controlMaintain and improve manufacturing documentation, including digital/paperless systemsDrive continuous improvement initiatives across production processesThe Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering disciplineAt least 3 years of relevant experience in CNC machining / precision manufacturingPrior exposure to aerospace or high-precision environments (e.g. oil & gas, medtech)Strong understanding of:CNC machining processesG-code / M-code conceptsCAD/CAM tools (e.g. Mastercam, NX, SolidCAM)GD&T / ANSI Y14.5 blueprint readingExperience in tooling and fixture design is advantageousFamiliarity with metrology and inspection techniques (e.g. CMM)Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to engineering challengesWhat's on OfferThis role offers the opportunity to join a globally respected aerospace manufacturing environment where you'll work on high-precision, complex components alongside experienced engineering teams.
