As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and commercially minded professional to lead our Accounting Outsourcing and Payroll Services practice.

Job Description

We are looking for a Manager or Senior Manager (depending on experience and capability) to oversee and grow our Accounting Outsourcing and Payroll portfolio. This leadership role combines client relationship management, team development, operational oversight, and business growth responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional service standards, ensuring client satisfaction, driving portfolio profitability, and leading a team of accounting and payroll professionals. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while working closely with internal specialists across Tax, Corporate Secretarial, Advisory and Business Development functions to deliver integrated solutions.

This role is ideal for an individual with strong technical expertise in accounting outsourcing and payroll services who enjoys building long-term client relationships and contributing to business growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Portfolio Management

  • Manage and oversee a portfolio of accounting outsourcing and payroll clients across multiple industries.
  • Act as the primary relationship manager and trusted advisor for key client accounts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of accounting, payroll, statutory reporting and compliance obligations.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and proactively identify opportunities to enhance service delivery.



Team Leadership & Operations

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of accounting and payroll professionals.
  • Review work quality and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Drive operational efficiency, process improvements and best practices across service delivery teams.
  • Manage resource planning, utilisation and service performance to meet business objectives.



Business Growth & Commercial Management

  • Grow and strengthen existing client relationships through proactive account management.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and collaborate with specialist teams on cross-selling initiatives.
  • Improve portfolio profitability through effective fee management and service optimisation.
  • Support selected client proposals, presentations and business development initiatives.
  • Convert referrals and qualified opportunities into long-term client engagements.



Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Corporate Tax, Corporate Secretarial, Advisory and Business Development teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Coordinate service delivery across multiple disciplines to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at expanding and strengthening OA Group's service offerings.



The Successful Applicant

Essential

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualification (CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in accounting outsourcing, accounting services, or professional services environments.
  • Proven experience managing accounting and payroll service engagements.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, GST, payroll regulations, CPF requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance service excellence and profitability.



Preferred

  • Experience in a professional services, accounting firm or corporate services environment.
  • Exposure to Corporate Tax and/or Corporate Secretarial services.
  • Experience managing integrated client portfolios involving multiple service lines.
  • Familiarity with cloud accounting platforms and payroll systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB or similar solutions.
