Job Description

  • Lead IFRS 17 finance implementation and ongoing reporting across APAC
  • Define accounting policies aligned with IFRS 17 and IFRS 9 frameworks
  • Oversee financial reporting accuracy, disclosures and governance controls
  • Collaborate with actuarial, IT and regional teams on finance initiatives
  • Drive process improvements, standardisation and operational efficiency
  • Manage stakeholder engagement including auditors and senior leadership
  • Support regional finance transformation and regulatory projects

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years' experience within life insurance finance in APAC
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Strong hands-on IFRS 17 and IFRS 9 implementation experience
  • Deep understanding of financial reporting, controls and disclosures
  • Proven ability to resolve complex technical accounting matters
  • Experience working in regional or multi-entity environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
