About Our Client

My client is a Singapore-listed investment holding company with diversified interests across metrology, renewable energy, infrastructure, and property development. The company is expanding into new technology and sustainability-focused ventures, including renewable energy systems, battery energy storage solutions (BESS), and data-driven infrastructure.

Job Description

  • Work closely with the CEO to develop board executive summaries, project proposals, and investment reports.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, including technical and financial assessments for projects in renewable energy, BESS, and data centre / cloud technology sectors.
  • Perform financial modelling in Excel to evaluate IRR, NPV, payback periods, and sensitivity analysis for proposed investments.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) due diligence, including data gathering, valuation, and risk assessment.
  • Leverage AI tools and digital research to collect relevant industry and market data to support business cases and presentations.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, well-structured presentation materials for management and board meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align technical findings with commercial goals.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following industries: Renewable Energy / Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)/ Data Centres.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of project valuation, investment feasibility, and M&A processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to translate complex technical ideas into clear business insights.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable using AI or digital tools to gather and synthesize information.
  • Confident in engaging with senior management and board-level stakeholders.
