Senior Accountant (Treasury & Finance)

This is a broad and commercially focused role that combines financial reporting, treasury operations, cash management and finance projects. The successful candidate will oversee outsourced accounting activities, manage banking and liquidity matters, support treasury initiatives and contribute to process improvement and governance projects.

Our client is a well-established international organisation with operations across multiple markets. Headquartered in Singapore, the business continues to strengthen its finance capabilities and is seeking an experienced finance professional to support both accounting and treasury functions within a dynamic and evolving environment.

Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Handle month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations.
  • Analyse financial data to support business decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to queries.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
  • Experience managing or accounting for intercompany loans
  • Experience in treasury activities such as FX, fixed deposits, hedging or liquidity management
  • Good understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements
