About Our Client

A global leader in the chemical sector is seeking an experienced Regional Operations & Supply Chain Manager to oversee end‑to‑end operations across Southeast Asia. This role works closely with commercial, finance and regional teams to optimise inventory, elevate logistics performance and enhance operational efficiency across multiple distribution channels.

Job Description

  • Lead regional supply chain activities including planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing and customer service.
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies in partnership with third‑party logistics providers, ensuring robust and efficient operational processes.
  • Identify bottlenecks, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Define, track and report key performance indicators to drive service quality and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial and finance stakeholders to optimise vendor and distributor partnerships.
  • Strengthen inventory planning, forecasting and segmentation to optimise stock levels and reduce aging inventory.
  • Coordinate regional inventory audits and ensure accurate reconciliation through effective 3PL oversight.
  • Ensure service providers deliver high standards of quality and cost efficiency, including minimising demurrage and detention.
  • Lead, coach and support regional teams across multiple countries, driving capability development and continuous improvement. Build strong, trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support seamless operations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 9 years' experience in operations or supply chain management, ideally in a regional distribution environment.
  • Proven leadership experience managing logistics, procurement, warehousing and customer service teams.
  • Strong familiarity with supply chain processes and hands‑on experience managing 3PL providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop action plans, performance metrics and inventory control frameworks.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with commercial and finance teams.
  • Strong organisational, time‑management, critical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
