As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking a Director of Operations (Collections) to drive operational excellence and scale their collections function.

Job Description

  • Lead overall collections operations to achieve monthly targets and KPIs
  • Develop and implement SOPs across in-house and outsourced processes
  • Analyse performance data to optimise recovery rates and forecast outcomes
  • Collaborate regionally to share best practices and improve risk management
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance and maintain strong client relationships
  • Manage stakeholder engagement, including partners and business clients
  • Drive cost optimisation while improving operational efficiency
  • Lead, coach, and develop large operational teams (100+ headcount)
  • Monitor quality and performance metrics across collection teams
  • Champion continuous improvement and innovation in processes and systems

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related discipline
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in collections operations
  • Experience managing multi-market or regional collections portfolios
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data reporting, performance monitoring, and decision-making
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and engage high-performing teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically while driving hands-on execution
  • Proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence
