Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, key responsibilities include:

  • Perform monthly group consolidation and ensure timely month-end financial closing activities
  • Manage full sets of accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Support strategic planning, annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises
  • Prepare monthly flash reports, management reports and financial performance analyses
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide meaningful commentaries to support management decision-making
  • Review, develop and enhance financial systems, controls and reporting processes
  • Participate in finance transformation initiatives, process improvement projects and other ad hoc assignments

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline
  • Prior experience in external audit and commercial accounting or finance environments
  • Experience handling full sets of accounts and group consolidation activities
  • Strong understanding of management reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Sound knowledge of financial reporting standards and accounting principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
  • Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across different functions and countries
  • Patient, collaborative and adaptable personality, able to build strong working relationships in a regional environment
