  • Oversee MSC and ASC Chain of Custody requirements, including certification maintenance, documentation, traceability, internal checks and external audits.
  • Lead and develop the QA team while partnering closely with production, warehouse, logistics, purchasing and commercial teams to strengthen food safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee facility operations including preventive maintenance, utilities, hygiene, pest control, workplace safety, security and outsourced service providers.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives covering facility performance, energy and utility efficiency, sustainability projects, vendor performance and operating costs.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience within food manufacturing, processing, distribution, cold-chain logistics or a similarly regulated food environment.
  • Strong practical knowledge of food safety and quality systems such as FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP and GMP.
  • Hands-on experience managing food safety, regulatory, customer and certification audits, including root cause analysis and CAPA management.
  • Experience with MSC and/or ASC Chain of Custody, traceability and certification requirements would be highly relevant.
  • Good understanding of Singapore food safety regulations and experience dealing with regulatory authorities and site inspections.
  • Exposure to facility operations such as preventive maintenance, building services, hygiene, pest control, utilities, workplace safety or vendor management will be advantageous.

What's on Offer

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a highly visible function that sits at the intersection of quality, operations and business continuity.

The successful candidate will gain broader exposure beyond traditional Quality Assurance, including facility operations, energy management and improvement projects. The role offers direct interaction with senior management and the opportunity to influence food safety, compliance and operational standards across the organisation.
