A Principal Enterprise Architect designs and governs large-scale IT platforms covering ServiceNow, observability, and cloud infrastructure; ensuring they are scalable, secure, and well-integrated. They also turn these platforms into commercial service offerings while leading architecture and SRE teams to drive reliability and business alignment.

About Our Client

The client is a large enterprise likely in telecom or managed services headquartered in Singapore focused on delivering scalable, platform-based IT and network solutions to internal and external customers.

Job Description

  • Define and own end-to-end architecture across ServiceNow, observability platforms, automation layers, and cloud/container infrastructure
  • Design scalable, secure, and well-integrated platforms aligned with frameworks like Zero Trust and NIST
  • Establish integration patterns between ServiceNow, CMDB, observability tools (e.g., Elastic), and infrastructure telemetry
  • Lead ServiceNow architecture, governance, and operating model (Dev/Test/Prod, CMDB integrity, workflows)
  • Architect and optimize observability platforms (logs, metrics, traces) and enable AIOps for proactive monitoring
  • Translate platform capabilities into commercial managed service offerings with clear SLAs, pricing, and service catalogs
  • Collaborate with sales and pre-sales to develop solution playbooks and reusable reference architectures
  • Lead and mentor architecture and SRE teams, driving DevOps/DevSecOps and reliability practices (uptime, MTTR, error budgets)
  • Establish architecture governance, standards, and review boards to ensure consistency and quality
  • Build internal capabilities, including talent development, hiring plans, and centres of excellence

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 15 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure or managed services, including at least 5 years in a senior enterprise architecture leadership role
  • Strong hands-on or architectural expertise in ServiceNow (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB), observability platforms (e.g., Elastic), and automation/event correlation
  • Proven experience designing and building managed service platforms
  • Background in systems integration, telecom integration, or large managed service provider environments



Preferred certifications:

  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM)
  • Elastic Certified Engineer (nice to have)
  • TOGAF and ITIL
  • Certifications in private cloud/container platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift
