Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting payroll operations for the Singapore office. This position offers exposure to international stakeholders, expatriate payroll matters and cross-border payroll tax administration.

Job Description

  • Process and administer monthly payroll accurately and on time
  • Maintain payroll records and validate payroll data
  • Support payroll-related statutory reporting including CPF, IR8A, IR21 and related submissions
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors and internal stakeholders on payroll tax matters
  • Assist with expatriate and assignee payroll administration
  • Support payroll reconciliations and payroll-related reporting
  • Process payroll-related payments and accounts payable transactions
  • Review employee claims and reimbursements
  • Prepare reconciliations and investigate outstanding items
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Assist with journal entries and audit schedules
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and operational support as required

The Successful Applicant

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
  • At least 4 years experience in payroll function
  • Familiarity with CPF administration and Singapore payroll practices
  • Exposure to payroll tax compliance, IR8A, IR21 or statutory reporting will be advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Service-oriented mindset with the ability to manage stakeholders professionally
