As the Operations & Production Head, you will lead end-to-end production and operations for luxury goods while driving efficiency, quality control and vendor management across supply chain. This role will oversee production, inventory, and operational workflows. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, and seamless coordination across suppliers and internal teams.

Job Description

  • Take full ownership of daily production operations, working closely with Operations team to plan, schedule, and execute manufacturing activities to meet tight timelines
  • Oversee the end-to-end production process from raw material handling to finished goods, ensuring quality, efficiency, and smooth coordination across teams
  • Actively monitor work orders and production progress, providing real-time updates and resolving bottlenecks to minimise downtime and delays
  • Manage factory resources including manpower, equipment, and materials, ensuring proper maintenance of machinery and availability of critical inputs (including precious materials)
  • Drive hands-on quality control and compliance, ensuring adherence to ISO standards, workplace safety requirements, and internal SOPs
  • Identify and implement practical process improvements using lean techniques to improve productivity and reduce wastage
  • Track production costs closely, including overtime and material usage, while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and day-to-day operational decision-making

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimally 6 years of experience in operations or production management roles, with strong experience within luxury goods, jewellery, retail, or manufacturing sectors
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain, inventory, operations management and production processes
  • Proven ability to manage production and operations teams, vendors and external partners
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiency
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
