Job Description

  • Develop and optimise machine learning platforms to support business requirements.
  • Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of machine learning systems.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate machine learning models into production systems.
  • Design and implement workflows for data processing and model deployment.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot platform performance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in machine learning technologies.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members on platform-related issues.
  • Document processes and best practices for the use and maintenance of the platform.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Machine Learning Platform Engineer should have:

  • Strong technical expertise in machine learning frameworks and tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in machine learning, such as Python or Java.
  • Proven experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • DevOps & Containers: Proficient with Docker for containerization and working knowledge of Kubernetes (k8s) for orchestration
  • Experience with data engineering and model deployment in production environments.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
