This is a senior leadership role with full oversight of the Treasury function. You will lead liquidity and ALM activities, supervise treasury dealers, oversee financial-market activities and provide recommendations to senior management and ALCO while maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions, regulators and market participants.

About Our Client

Our client is an established international financial institution seeking an experienced Head of Treasury to lead its Treasury function in Singapore. The role offers broad responsibility across liquidity, ALM, financial markets, treasury risk and team leadership

Job Description

  • Lead and manage the Treasury function, covering liquidity management, ALM, funding, financial markets and treasury risk.
  • Supervise and develop treasury dealers while overseeing day-to-day dealing activities and ensuring transactions remain within approved limits and controls.
  • Review treasury positions, market developments and business opportunities, providing strategic recommendations to senior management and ALCO.
  • Ensure treasury activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies and established risk frameworks.
  • Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, regulators and market participants while supporting treasury business growth and market presence.

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 15 years of relevant experience across bank treasury, financial markets and liquidity management.
  • Broad knowledge of treasury products and financial markets, together with strong funding, liquidity and balance-sheet management experience.
  • Proven experience leading treasury teams, supervising dealers and developing junior and senior team members.
  • Strong exposure to ALCO and senior management, with the ability to analyse treasury positions and provide clear strategic recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills with established relationships across financial institutions, regulators and market participants.
