About Our Client

Our client is an established international financial institution seeking an experienced Head of Treasury to lead its treasury function in Singapore. This is a senior appointment with broad responsibility across liquidity management, funding, asset and liability management and treasury strategy.

Job Description

  • Lead the Treasury function, with responsibility for liquidity management, funding strategy, balance-sheet optimisation and overall treasury performance.
  • Drive asset and liability management activities and provide strategic recommendations on funding structure, liquidity positioning and market developments.
  • Oversee treasury dealing activities and ensure transactions are executed within approved limits, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present treasury analysis, market updates and strategic recommendations to ALCO, senior management and other key committees.
  • Lead, develop and guide the Treasury team while maintaining strong relationships with regulators, financial institutions, market participants and regional and global stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 15 years of relevant experience across treasury, financial markets, liquidity management or asset and liability management within the banking sector.
  • Strong hands-on experience in funding, liquidity management, balance-sheet optimisation and treasury strategy.
  • Good knowledge of treasury products, including money markets, foreign exchange, fixed income and other relevant funding instruments.
  • Proven leadership experience managing treasury dealers or a financial markets team, with strong exposure to ALCO and senior management stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, communication and stakeholder-management skills, with a sound understanding of applicable regulatory requirements.
