Job Description

As Head of Solution Architecture, you will provide strategic leadership across architecture, technology governance, and enterprise technology initiatives.Key responsibilities include:

  • Define and evolve the organisation's enterprise and solution architecture roadmap to support business objectives and long-term growth.
  • Establish architecture frameworks, standards, and governance practices that promote scalability, resilience, security, and operational excellence.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to evaluate emerging technologies and guide strategic technology investment decisions.
  • Provide oversight across cloud platforms, enterprise applications, integrations, APIs, data platforms, and modern digital solutions.
  • Lead architecture reviews and support major transformation programmes from design through implementation.
  • Champion responsible adoption of AI, automation, and data-driven technologies to improve business and technology outcomes.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing architecture capability while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, translating complex technology challenges into clear strategic recommendations.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture
  • More than 5 years of leadership experience managing architecture, engineering, or technology teams.
  • Strong expertise in enterprise-scale solution design, cloud architectures, APIs, distributed systems, and platform engineering.
  • Experience establishing architecture governance, standards, operating models, and technology controls.
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms, software architecture, integration frameworks, and data ecosystems.
  • Strong knowledge of security, compliance, risk management, and technology governance principles.
  • Proven ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience driving AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
