With a highly complex cross-border supply chain and logistics network, the organisation continues to invest in trade strategy, customs optimisation and supply chain innovation to support its international growth and enhance operational efficiency.

Job Description

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for developing and executing the organisation's global trade strategy, ensuring customs efficiency, regulatory compliance and landed cost optimisation across international markets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement global customs, trade and duty optimisation strategies across multiple regions
  • Identify opportunities to reduce landed costs through supply chain redesign, free trade agreements and trade programmes
  • Partner with finance and business leaders to optimise indirect tax and cross-border operating models
  • Establish governance frameworks for customs classification, valuation and trade compliance
  • Lead relationships with customs brokers, logistics partners and external advisors
  • Drive improvements in customs clearance performance, operational efficiency and customer delivery outcomes
  • Support international expansion initiatives by providing strategic trade and regulatory guidance



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, International Business or a related discipline
  • At least 8+ years of experience within international trade, customs, global logistics, trade advisory or supply chain functions
  • Strong expertise in customs valuation, HS classification, Rules of Origin and free trade agreements
  • Proven track record of delivering duty savings, trade optimisation and landed cost reduction initiatives
  • Experience operating across multiple international jurisdictions and regulatory environments
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business leaders
  • Commercially minded with the ability to balance risk management, operational effectiveness and business growth
  • Exposure to cross-border e-commerce, retail, consumer goods, fashion or multinational environments will be advantageous
