Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this Financial Controller will serve as a strategic finance leader responsible for overseeing the financial performance, governance, and reporting function across the Group.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the Group's financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and cashflow management activities.
  • Drive timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
  • Partner closely with operational leaders to provide commercial insights, profitability analysis and data-driven recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Oversee annual budgeting cycles, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning to support business growth initiatives.
  • Manage group consolidation, financial governance, statutory compliance, tax matters and external audits across local and overseas operations.
  • Strengthen internal controls, finance processes, and reporting frameworks while ensuring business stakeholders have access to meaningful financial information.
  • Lead and mentor a lean finance team while promoting accountability, ownership and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA.
  • At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, including leadership responsibilities within multi-entity environments.
  • Proven track record overseeing group reporting, consolidation, forecasting, budgeting, and cashflow management.
  • Hospitality, F&B, lifestyle, retail, or consumer-facing industry experience will be viewed favourably due to the operational complexity of the business.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to partner business leaders and translate financial data into actionable recommendations.
  • Hands-on leadership style with a proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience working with outsourced finance functions and driving process improvements would be advantageous.
