My client is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer (Steam Turbine/Compressor) to manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment. This role is based in Singapore (requires heavy travelling to international customer's sites) and requires expertise in engineering and manufacturing within the industrial sector.

Job Description

  • Perform onsite maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of steam turbines and compressors.
  • Conduct equipment inspections, ensuring compliance with operational standards and safety protocols.
  • Prepare detailed service reports and documentation following each project.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiency and quality.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining high safety standards on-site.
  • Provide technical training to client's personnel when necessary.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Field Service Engineer (Steam Turbine/Compressor) should have:

  • A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with steam turbines and compressors in the industrial sector.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in engineering and manufacturing equipment.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site assignments in Singapore and internationally.
