Job Description

  • Trade equities listed on major US exchanges, including Nasdaq and NYSE, using proprietary capital.
  • Identify and evaluate investment opportunities across technology, AI, semiconductor and related sectors.
  • Execute a range of trading strategies including intraday, swing and event-driven approaches.
  • Develop trading plans, portfolio exposure guidelines and risk management frameworks aligned to market conditions.
  • Monitor positions and manage capital allocation, leverage utilisation and downside risk.
  • Perform ongoing trade analysis, performance reviews and strategy optimisation to enhance risk-adjusted returns.
  • Ensure adherence to internal trading governance, risk parameters and market regulations.



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 3+ years of live trading experience within US equity markets.
  • Experience managing real investment capital with a demonstrable track record of trading performance.
  • Background gained within a proprietary trading firm, hedge fund, family office, investment management or similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of US market structure, liquidity dynamics and event-driven trading opportunities.
  • Proven capability in developing independent market views and trading strategies.
  • Disciplined approach to position sizing, leverage management, drawdown control and capital preservation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate performance and continuously refine trading methodologies.
  • Experience trading technology, AI or semiconductor-related equities would be advantageous.
  • Exposure to options, quantitative, market-neutral, long/short or digital asset trading strategies would be beneficial.
