About Our Client

A global container shipping company is seeking a Digital Transformation, Operations Specialist to drive system improvements, performance reporting and process optimisation across maritime operations.

Job Description

  • Support system enhancement projects through requirements gathering, testing and implementation.
  • Prepare and analyse KPI dashboards and performance reports, identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Act as Tableau/Power BI superuser to facilitate data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Create clear, compelling presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Draft SOPs, map workflows and identify process efficiencies.
  • Conduct gap analyses across HQ, regional offices and agencies to streamline operations.
  • Identify automation and digitalisation opportunities to reduce manual tasks and improve productivity.
  • Contribute to efficiency initiatives and support projects across Liner Operations, Ports & Terminals, Special Cargo and Dangerous Goods.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Maritime, Business Analytics, Operations or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years' liner‑shipping experience, including supervisory or mid‑management exposure.
  • Experience with marine operations systems is an advantage.
  • Strong background in process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
