About Our Client

Our client is a well-established wholesale banking institution with a strong presence across key financial markets in Asia. The bank supports corporate and institutional clients through a comprehensive suite of lending, trade finance and treasury solutions. They are seeking an experienced Credit & Loan Operations Specialist to support loan servicing, credit administration and banking operations activities across bilateral and syndicated facilities.

Job Description

  • Reviewing legal documentation under bilateral and syndicated credit facilities and facility letters to ensure terms and conditions are in line with credit approvals.
  • Able to accurately interpret the Facility Agreement in determining allowance of requested transactions.
  • Examine customer's utilization requests relating to bilateral and syndication loan credit facilities and ensure that facility limits and all conditions precedent are met before loan disbursement.
  • Perform all aspects of loan drawdowns, rollovers and collection of principal repayments and interest payments for both bilateral and syndicated loans.
  • Interact with Relationship Managers when required in following up on outstanding matters and/or documentation from them.
  • Perform AML / KYC checks.
  • Prepare swift payments for loan disbursements.
  • Ensure proper record and safe keeping of loan related documents.
  • Processing of Bank Guarantees/ Standby Letter of Credits.
  • Preparation of local, regulatory and Head Office reports.
  • Work with IT Teams on system upgrades, UAT roll outs.



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree qualification in Banking, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in loan administration, credit operations, loan servicing or credit documentation within a banking environment.
  • Good understanding of bilateral lending and syndicated loan products.
  • Familiarity with facility agreements, loan documentation and operational risk controls.
  • Exposure to AML/KYC processes and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Team-oriented, proactive and committed to delivering high standards of accuracy and service.
