Job Description

  • Lead the full spectrum of finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial performance.
  • Provide commercial insights through business reviews, financial analysis, KPI monitoring, and recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and medium-term planning processes in partnership with regional and local leadership teams.
  • Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimisation, banking relationships, and treasury-related activities.
  • Strengthen governance frameworks by ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • Partner with stakeholders across business functions to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and support strategic initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Controller should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • Proven finance leadership experience within a retail or consumer-facing environment.
  • Strong financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organisation.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
