The Buyer will play a key role in the Procurement & Supply Chain department, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services. This temporary role in Singapore requires a detail-oriented professional with a focus on the water industry.

Job Description

  • Source and procure materials and services in line with project requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and terms.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure timely deliveries and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for auditing purposes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively.
  • Resolve any procurement-related issues or discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on procurement activities to relevant stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Buyer should have:

  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain roles within the property industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to manage supplier relationships effectively.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and inventory control.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
