Business Unit Finance Director - Apparel Manufacturing

Job Description

  • Prepare monthly performance reports, forecasts, and highlight risks/opportunities
  • Lead business reviews with senior stakeholders across functions
  • Provide actionable insights through financial and operational analysis
  • Conduct financial modelling and simulations for key business decisions
  • Evaluate ROI for capital expenditure and investment proposals
  • Drive KPI analysis to assess operational performance impact
  • Support communication of financial priorities and policies
  • Monitor regulatory or market developments affecting performance
  • Lead annual budgeting, including P&L, capacity, and CAPEX planning
  • Partner with BU leadership to refine budgets and support executive reviews
  • Lead, coach, and develop finance team members

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Extensive experience in FP&A or commercial finance leadership
  • Experience in manufacturing or regional/global environments is advantageous
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders
  • Ability to present financial insights to non-finance audiences
  • Experience engaging with senior executives and leadership teams
