Job Description

  • Guide retail and F&B tenants through design submissions, fit-out requirements and approval processes across multiple shopping malls.
  • Review shopfront, interior layout and visual merchandising proposals to ensure alignment with the positioning and design standards of each property.
  • Provide constructive design input while enabling tenants to express their individual brand identities effectively.
  • Present design proposals and recommendations to landlords and communicate approval decisions to relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspections, design audits and pre-opening reviews to ensure completed works comply with approved plans.
  • Develop tenancy layouts, precinct concepts, design visualisations and updated design guidelines for asset enhancement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with leasing, marketing, property management, consultants and contractors on tenancy changes, improvement works and ad-hoc projects.

The Successful Applicant

  • Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related design discipline.
  • At least years of experience in tenancy design, interior design, architecture, retail fit-out or commercial property projects.
  • Practical understanding of retail and F&B renovation processes, technical submissions and on-site fit-out matters.
  • Strong design judgement with the ability to balance branding, commercial objectives and property guidelines.
  • Confidence in presenting design recommendations and resolving design-related issues with tenants and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Organised, resourceful and able to manage multiple design submissions and project timelines independently.
