The role involves managing audits, incidents, contractors, and safety systems while working closely with project teams to ensure all activities are executed safely and effectively.

Job Description

  • Plan and implement EHS programs, procedures, audits, and awareness activities
  • Manage ISO 45001 and BizSafe certifications, including audit tracking and closure
  • Act as the EHS subject matter expert for projects and operations
  • Conduct site walkdowns, inspections, and observations; issue reports and follow through until closure
  • Oversee incident and near-miss reporting and investigations according to company standards
  • Review incident reports and support investigations for serious cases when required
  • Review risk assessments, safe work procedures, competencies, and permits for high-risk work
  • Monitor project works to ensure compliance with company standards, regulations, and legal requirements
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure proper implementation of safety management systems
  • Support compliance audits and ensure timely closure of findings
  • Coordinate with project teams and contractors to ensure work is properly planned and carried out safely
  • Attend EHS meetings and prepare minutes when required
  • Support additional EHS tasks assigned by the Country EHS Manager

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering or related field
  • At least 5 years of EHS management experience
  • Experience in data centres, facilities, or manufacturing is an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years post-WSHO registration with contractor management experience in construction, A&A, or fit-out works
  • Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM
  • ECO certification (NEA) preferred
  • Fire Safety Manager certification (SCDF) preferred
  • ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good problem-solving and analytical ability
  • Solid EHS technical knowledge and Microsoft Office skills
