Job Description

  • Leading end-to-end distribution centre operations to ensure service, cost, and productivity targets are achieved.
  • Managing inventory planning and control processes to optimise stock integrity, working capital, and fulfilment performance.
  • Overseeing third-party logistics providers and external service partners to ensure SLA compliance and operational excellence.
  • Driving budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance reporting while maintaining accountability for key business metrics.
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing initiatives that enhance efficiency, service quality, and cost effectiveness.
  • Partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders including procurement, commercial, and external partners to improve supply chain performance.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing operational teams while maintaining high standards in workplace safety, quality, and compliance.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree-qualified in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Operations Management, or related disciplines.
  • Minimally 10 years of supply chain, warehousing, distribution, or logistics operations experience.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large-scale warehouse and distribution operations.
  • Strong knowledge of cold chain logistics and distribution, inventory management, transportation operations, and third-party logistics management.
  • Demonstrated track record in operational excellence, process improvement, and supply chain optimisation initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and people leadership capabilities.
  • Experience managing operational budgets, performance metrics, and business reporting.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety, quality management systems, and compliance requirements.
  • Exposure to warehouse automation, digitalisation, or supply chain transformation projects will be advantageous.
