About Our Client

This company is a well-established player in the insurance industry focused on providing commercial property protection.

Job Description

  • Recording and posting journal entries
  • Completing balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Preparing annual statutory financial statements
  • Assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
  • Ensuring adherence to applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP) and internal control requirements
  • Compiling and providing information for external audits and regulatory reporting
  • Supporting tax reporting by supplying data for filings, including GST/VAT and other statutory requirements

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is desirable.
  • At-least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Insurance industry is advantageous
