About Our Client

A leading provider of critical digital infrastructure is seeking a VP of Network Quality & Autonomous Operations to lead network quality governance across mobile, fibre broadband, and network operations.

Job Description

  • Own enterprise-wide network quality governance, including KPI/KQI frameworks, performance standards, escalation protocols, and quality risk reporting to executive leadership.
  • Lead a 24/7 Network Operations Centre responsible for incident detection, major incident management, service restoration, and MTTR performance across mobile, fixed, and enterprise environments.
  • Oversee end-to-end quality and performance across 4G LTE, 5G Standalone (SA), VoLTE/VoNR, fibre broadband (GPON/XGS-PON), IP transport, and broadband services.
  • Drive the adoption of AI, automation, and advanced analytics to enable predictive fault detection, intelligent operations, and progression toward a highly autonomous operating model.
  • Lead major incident governance, executive communications, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement programmes.
  • Establish and scale a high-performing Network Quality organisation, including team design, capability development, and quality engineering best practices.
  • Act as a key representative with regulators and industry stakeholders on network quality, resilience, and compliance matters.

The Successful Applicant

  • 15+ years of experience in telecommunications network engineering, operations, or service assurance.
  • Proven leadership experience within a mobile, broadband, or converged telecoms operator.
  • Deep expertise in operating large-scale 24/7 Network Operations Centres, major incident management, and operational governance.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing live 5G Standalone (SA) networks, including core network performance and service quality.
  • Technical depth across multiple domains, including18+ years of experience in telecommunications network engineering, operations, or service assurance.
  • Proven leadership experience at VP or Senior Director level within a mobile, broadband, or converged telecoms operator.
  • Deep expertise in operating large-scale 24/7 Network Operations Centres, major incident management, and operational governance.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing live 5G Standalone (SA) networks, including core network performance and service quality.
  • Technical depth across multiple domains, including 4G/5G RAN, 5G Core, fibre broadband (GPON/XGS-PON), service assurance, or network performance engineering.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale automation, AI-driven operations, or autonomous network transformation initiatives.
  • Track record of building functions, leading organisational change, and managing high-performing technical teams.
  • Degree qualified in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
